The deployment of Filipino Workers to Saudi Arabia will resume on November 7, 2022. The recent news about the mutual agreement between the Philippines and Saudi Arabia regarding the continuation of the deployment to the latter country was the best move in addressing all the concerns and resolving the issues of Filipinos working abroad.

The Standard Employment Contract of every worker is the main focus of the bilateral discussions between the Philippines and Saudi officials.

The newly elected PEACEME President was officially inaugurated last June 29, 2021. The oath-taking was officially administered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary, Hon. Silvestre Bello III with the presence of other DOLE officials such as POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia, DOLE Director Alice Visperas, DOLE Usec. Renato Ebarle, and DOLE Asec. Dominque Tutay. It was noted that upon learning the situation of COVID 19 pandemic in Russia affecting some workers, Rensol arranged coordination meeting with the Principal/Employer and the Embassy and discussed many ways to ensure the safety of all OFWs. The cooperation and coordination resulted to the OFWS receiving cash aid from OWWA in addition to being paid by the Employer despite the fact that no work had been done due to lockdown imposed in the project.

They will also exchange views on regional and global developments and other issues.
