Rensol OFW deployment

Despite the difficulties and challenges the pandemic had brought to the recruitment industry, Rensol Recruitment stayed committed to its mission and continue in deploying professional and skilled Filipino Workers abroad. Amidst the global pandemic which started on 2020, Rensol remained to be a strong agency and did what they do best to generate jobs for the Filipinos and service its clients’ principal abroad . Fortunately, their continuous effort resulted to the company’s recognition as one of POEA’s Top 50 Agencies in Deploying Skilled Workers (Jan-April 2021). The acknowledgement was made possible because of the support and trust of Rensol clients and principals who always view Rensol not just as a regular recruitment vendor but as their strategic partner in ensuring that they find the best talents for their company. Through these continuous partnerships, Rensol was able to continue its advocacy to help Filipino families, especially in these difficult times.

Most of the deployed workers were sent to the Middle East region. By the first and second quarter of this year, Rensol had already deployed more than half of its job requirement for its project in Lusail Plaza Tower in Qatar. With a target number of 1000 skilled workers, the agency had already sent more than half of its quota and is still in the deployment process up to this moment. Available job positions for skilled workers include Pipe Fitter, Duct Fitter, Plumber, Insulator, and Electrician.

Still in the Middle East, Rensol clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also seek for Filipino workforce due to their proven quality and excellence with their works.

Lastly, Rensol will be employing a huge number of Filipino Welders (FCAW) to Murmansk, Russia. For years and up to present, Russian clients always puts its trust to Rensol in providing quality workforce for their projects. Click here to see that Rensol is Russia’s Top Agency for manpower.

Rensol went through extra miles to provide “a service that is above and beyond” even through a pandemic. Mr. Arnold Mamaclay and his team remained true to their statement of “walang ka-Rensol ang maiiwan” and did everything to properly assist, monitor the workers’ welfare, and provide more opportunities abroad for the Filipino people. To be ranked by POEA as one of the Top Agencies in deploying skilled workers in this difficult situation is a feat. This just shows how Rensol is a true advocate of their mission and how they play a big role in this industry specially in advocating Ethical recruitment and Zero Placement Fee. Let it be said again that all deployments made by Rensol Recruitment is free recruitment. Meaning, the workers does not have to pay for any placement and processing fee to Rensol.

Many are called, but only a few are chosen.

Opportunities to work abroad are scarce, being deployed abroad with an ethical recruitment agency is a golden opportunity of a lifetime. Every worker is expected to treasure the limited chance to earn better and become successful by just being a hardworking and responsible flag bearer of the country while overseas.

Here is the first installment of success stories we collated from our successful hires deployed to different parts of the world.

Ramel Tanon Sofranes was deployed to Russia to work as a tig/arc welder for Cherepovets and Yamal LNG Gas Plant project for Renaissance Heavy Industries (RHI) during our first batch of deployment, last March 2016.

Ramel shared that he came upon an advertisement from Rensol in Facebook. He tried his luck to apply where he passed the skills trade testing without any fees to pay. He was urgently deployed to Russia with his qualifications.

He survived to withstand working for 10 hours during the winter season with an extreme temperature of negative 30 degrees Celsius.

“Mahirap mawalay sa pamilya, mahirap dahil sobrang lamig, mahirap communication doon, mahirap salita nila, pero pagdating sa trabaho, kayang kaya (It is hard to live far away from your family, it’s hard because it is too cold, it’s hard to communicate, their language is difficult to understand, but when it comes to working, everything is doable.),” he shared.

Ramel was sent to the good hands of RHI who he claims to be very good as employers.

“Maganda at walang bitin ang sahod, ayos din naman ang accommodation (It is good and there is no delay on salary, the accommodation provided for us is also great.),” he said.

Thousands of Filipino skilled professionals were already deployed to Russia.  Filipino workers were tapped and have been provided with a quality job opportunity through Rensol Recruitment’s partnership with most of RHI’s gigantic projects.

This opportunity definitely helped his family to reach the greener pasture in life.

“Nais ko lang magpasalamat sa inyo (Arnold Mamaclay) at sa Rensol dahil nagkaroon ako ng pagkakataon.. thank you very much sa Rensol agency at wala akong ginastos at ako’y nakaalis patungong Russia (I just want to thank Rensol because I was able to fly to Russia without paying for anything),” Ramel said.

Renaissance Heavy Industries (RHI) has been one of the long-standing satisfied partners of Rensol in providing quality job opportunities to Filipinos for almost five challenging yet productive years. Some of RHI’s projects which involved Rensol’s manpower services are Yamal LNG Plant, Gas-To-Gasoline Project (GTG), Turkmenhimiya Ammonia and Urea Plant, Sibur Tobolskneftekhim Polypropylene Plant, Phosagro Ammonia Plant, etc. Rensol has provided thousands of pipe fitters, scaffolders, welders, and riggers to the said projects, both in Russia and Turkmenistan.

RHI contracted Filipino workers from Rensol Recruitment to man its mechanical, construction, civil activities, and other EPC services which includes concrete works, steel erection, equipment erection, heavy lifting, piping works, cable pulling, insulation, and painting.

Ramel was able to buy his own car, which he uses as a source of income here in the Philippines. He is now working as a full-time driver for the ride-sharing service mobile application, Grab.

Rensol, being an ethical recruitment agency, reaches out especially to the less privileged Filipinos to alleviate their lives. The agency doesn’t collect anything to make opportunities attainable even by those in the poorest of the poor. That’s why it is with great delight that we celebrate even the smallest successes of our deployed workers overseas.

Gabon Wood Industries chooses Rensol Recruitment as their manpower provider bound to their 400,000- hectare of forest concession in West Central, Africa.

The country’s wood-working paradise has generated millions of jobs and has boosted their economy. Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ) has also been regarded as the best woodworking SEZ in Africa. Apart from increasing job opportunities and generating income for locals of Gabon, the company has extended their manpower orders to the Philippines with their lack of skilled workers.

Gabon Wood is an advocate of anti-illegal forest harvesting as Rensol advocates anti-illegal recruitment. Their main business activities are container handling and stuffing services, kiln drying, warehousing, and manufacturing of doors, moldings, finger- joints, and furniture.

Gabon’s tropical forest is home to more than 400 species of trees and an enormous logging potential with an exploitable timber stock of 400 million cbm. Along with the promotion of ethical recruitment and our mandate to an above and beyond service, Rensol launches its own PEOS online and E-registration booth where workers can take it for free with assistance from our recruiters.

PEOS Online and E-registration are the mandatory procedures for all aspiring Overseas Filipino Workers for them to know all the necessary information on the overseas job application, documentary requirements and costs, and a scheme to protect them against illegal recruitment.

All OFWs must accomplish this two as a pre-requisite of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). Recruitment agencies can only submit documents of workers who have completed the PEOS online course. This aims to ensure that all deployed workers will be good ambassadors of the Philippines and will not be runaway employees due to culture shock or lack of information.

The same thing goes with e-registration. This is POEA’s online registration facility where aspiring applicants will have their profiles registered in the official database of the agency.

While workers are ideally expected to have it prior to applying to a licensed recruitment agency, Rensol Recruitment noticed that most workers haven’t taken it even before their deployment. A PEOS Certificate should be an additional certificate when applying for a job but many applicants have none of it.

Applicants without internet access may use our facility to take this service for free. By just taking the PEOS online seminar and e-registration, one worker will surely be abroad-ready.

PEOS Compliance

In a span of seven minutes per module, an applicant can finish each video seminar, including the assessment test. Upon completion, the user will receive an email notification of their test result and a certificate of completion.

The first module is about P.R.I.C.E.S.T. which stands for Physical mobility, relationship, income, career movement and direction, expenses, skills, and time. Module 2 is about where one can find employment the legal way. Module 3 tackles the POEA’s campaign against illegal recruitment and teaches users about the schemes employed by recruiters.

Module 4 is about the fees that an OFW needs to pay should he decides to work overseas. Module 5 provides users with details that they need to look into when signing contracts. Module 6 provides information about a particular country, its culture, and customs. Module 7 is about staying healthy and keeping safe in their host country, and Module 8 provides the users with a directory of POEA officials should they need assistance.

Three Rensol workers in Russia make us proud by returning a wallet to their foreign colleague with cash amounting to 40k Rubles (Php 32k) and an ATM last September 1, 2018.

Rensol Recruitment deployed Victor Adel, Jr., Michael Algones, and Norven Antenor, natives of Batangas City, as pipefitters to the Tobolsk project site of the Renaissance Heavy Industries (RHI) this year.

Their Uzbek colleague expresses appreciation to the three Filipino co-workers for returning his wallet.

The three Rensol workers were having their free time walking along the site last Saturday afternoon when they found the wallet hanging on one of the pipes they installed. They said that they immediately look for its owner to return the property.

“We have no interest whatever on the amount inside the wallet because we can earn the money with our own hard work,” one worker said.

“The person who left this wallet might need the money,” another worker said.

Arnold Mamaclay, president of Rensol Recruitment, lauds the Rensol workers for their respectful display of honesty in their workplace.

“The three Rensol workers demonstrated that the traits of honesty and trustworthiness are not lost among every Filipinos wherever they are deployed in the world. Moreover, these workers are worthy of emulation by all OFWs overseas. Such action deserves full appreciation and deep gratitude from their countrymen,” he said.
