The above may not mean anything to the public, but it means everything to the 500 skilled and semi-skilled Filipino workers that attended SNC Lavalin’s 4-day client interview and selection.

Rensol Recruitment and Consulting is successful in closing a deal with SNC Lavalin, a global project management company headquartered in Quebec, Canada. With giant infrastructure projects in the middle east, they are also a leading provider of comprehensive end-to-end corporate solutions. Some of which includes capital investment, consulting, design, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance. Together with their oil and gas branch, Saudi Arabian Kentz, commissioned Rensol as an official recruitment consultant for their numerous oil and gas energy projects in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Commitment + Perseverance = Success

It’s never really that easy to clinch a new client. It also takes real commitment and perseverance to win a partnership. Led by their President, Mr. Arnold Mamaclay, the time and effort Rensol invested in SNC Lavalin is above and beyond challenging. The principal, being the well-established company that they are, conceivably, has several dozen options to whom they will partner with in regard to their manpower needs.

What convinced SNC Lavalin to make Rensol their official consultant is more than what a regular recruitment firm can offer. It’s not just about their good reputation. Nor its about their close-knit ties with the local government. Nor is their well-experienced and strong recruitment team. It’s their heart, undying diligence to deliver and reputation as a problem solver that made the principal choose them as a recruitment partner.

The interviews and selection for Skilled and Semi-skilled positions such as Piping Foremen, Riggers II and III (TUV Certified), Piping Welders, Piping Fabricators, Pipe Fitters, Grinders, Gas Cutters, and Erectors have been concluded within the Rensol office in Quezon City.

A 2-day interview for Technical Positions such as Turnaround Planners, Turnaround Coordinators, Maintenance Planners and Schedulers happened at New World Hotel in Makati City.

Interview and Selection for Engineering and Supervisory Positions such as QC Supervisors – E&I, QC Supervisors – Mechanical & Piping, QC Supervisors – Welding, QC Inspectors – Civil & Structural, QC Inspectors – Instrumentation and many more are happening soon.

Along with the promotion of ethical recruitment and our mandate to an above and beyond service, Rensol launches its own PEOS online and E-registration booth where workers can take it for free with assistance from our recruiters.

PEOS Online and E-registration are the mandatory procedures for all aspiring Overseas Filipino Workers for them to know all the necessary information on the overseas job application, documentary requirements and costs, and a scheme to protect them against illegal recruitment.

All OFWs must accomplish this two as a pre-requisite of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). Recruitment agencies can only submit documents of workers who have completed the PEOS online course. This aims to ensure that all deployed workers will be good ambassadors of the Philippines and will not be runaway employees due to culture shock or lack of information.

The same thing goes with e-registration. This is POEA’s online registration facility where aspiring applicants will have their profiles registered in the official database of the agency.

While workers are ideally expected to have it prior to applying to a licensed recruitment agency, Rensol Recruitment noticed that most workers haven’t taken it even before their deployment. A PEOS Certificate should be an additional certificate when applying for a job but many applicants have none of it.

Applicants without internet access may use our facility to take this service for free. By just taking the PEOS online seminar and e-registration, one worker will surely be abroad-ready.

PEOS Compliance

In a span of seven minutes per module, an applicant can finish each video seminar, including the assessment test. Upon completion, the user will receive an email notification of their test result and a certificate of completion.

The first module is about P.R.I.C.E.S.T. which stands for Physical mobility, relationship, income, career movement and direction, expenses, skills, and time. Module 2 is about where one can find employment the legal way. Module 3 tackles the POEA’s campaign against illegal recruitment and teaches users about the schemes employed by recruiters.

Module 4 is about the fees that an OFW needs to pay should he decides to work overseas. Module 5 provides users with details that they need to look into when signing contracts. Module 6 provides information about a particular country, its culture, and customs. Module 7 is about staying healthy and keeping safe in their host country, and Module 8 provides the users with a directory of POEA officials should they need assistance.

Right after securing a partnership with Tiger Scaffolds, along with a dozen other New Zealand clients, Rensol Recruitment & Consulting immediately closed another deal, this time with a construction management giant’s Malaysian branch. Fastflow Malaysia, a member of the highly specialized Fastflow Group, is a well-known solutions provider for rainwater drainage management in building projects across the Asia Pacific. They are also a constant recipient of the prestigious BEI Asia Awards and Singapore Business Review (SBR) Management Excellence Awards.

Fastflow Malaysia reached out to Rensol after learning that the fastest growing ethical recruitment agency satisfied a previous manpower order for Classic Advantage Sdn Bhd, one of the leading manufacturers and providers of precision plastic parts and molds for engineering construction in Malaysia. The latter, being a parts supplier, referred Rensol and its above and beyond recruitment service to its peers.

Fastflow Malaysia placed a ‘test order’ to asses and evaluate if Rensol is capable of sourcing specialized technical positions. Not only did the leading ethical manpower provider delivered, they went above and beyond for their new partner. Every step of the Fastflow Malaysia recruitment campaign was undoubtedly fast. Fast but detail-oriented accreditation process, fast and quality driven candidate sourcing, and equally qualitative and fast deployment. The test order was deployed, and the client is very happy. Rensol is now expecting a bigger recruitment order coming very soon.

Mr. John Paul Bico – Fastflow’s ‘Test’ Order for a Building Information Modeller

This is not the first time Rensol secured a partner within the Malay peninsula. Early clients such as Times Software and Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd up to newer clients like CBRE – Asia Pacific Business Services, Business Technovise International Sdn Bhd, and Quess Global Sdn Bhd have all used and gained from the top-class manpower and staffing solutions that Rensol provides.

Expect bigger and better things in Malaysia and the rest of Asia, as the fastest growing ethical and international recruitment agency reaches out and deepens its connection with more similarly ethical companies providing more quality driven professional opportunities for more aspiring Filipino workers.

Three Rensol workers in Russia make us proud by returning a wallet to their foreign colleague with cash amounting to 40k Rubles (Php 32k) and an ATM last September 1, 2018.

Rensol Recruitment deployed Victor Adel, Jr., Michael Algones, and Norven Antenor, natives of Batangas City, as pipefitters to the Tobolsk project site of the Renaissance Heavy Industries (RHI) this year.

Their Uzbek colleague expresses appreciation to the three Filipino co-workers for returning his wallet.

The three Rensol workers were having their free time walking along the site last Saturday afternoon when they found the wallet hanging on one of the pipes they installed. They said that they immediately look for its owner to return the property.

“We have no interest whatever on the amount inside the wallet because we can earn the money with our own hard work,” one worker said.

“The person who left this wallet might need the money,” another worker said.

Arnold Mamaclay, president of Rensol Recruitment, lauds the Rensol workers for their respectful display of honesty in their workplace.

“The three Rensol workers demonstrated that the traits of honesty and trustworthiness are not lost among every Filipinos wherever they are deployed in the world. Moreover, these workers are worthy of emulation by all OFWs overseas. Such action deserves full appreciation and deep gratitude from their countrymen,” he said.

Rensol Recruitment has the largest deployment to the biggest oil and gas and construction projects in the World’s largest country. Rensol is a top supplier of manpower to RHI’s projects such as Yamal LNG Plant, Gas-To-Gasoline Project (GTG), Turkmenhimiya Ammonia and Urea Plant, Sibur Tobolskneftekhim Polypropylene Plant, Phosagro Ammonia Plant, etc.

The Tobolsk project is one of the biggest projects of RHI, Rensol’s partner in providing quality job opportunities to Filipinos bound to Russia and Turkmenistan for four years already.

This partnership provided thousands of opportunities to pipe fitters, scaffolders, welders, and riggers.

Renaissance Solutions PH or more popularly known as Rensol Recruitment & Consulting, branded as the fastest growing recruitment agency in the Philippines is also confirmable as a leading ethical, international recruitment agency.

From their very humble beginnings up to their now extraordinary present, Rensol as an international recruitment agency has always strived to do the right thing. Their commitment to the highest quality standards, delivering professional and safe services to all jobseekers and workers is their motivation and reason why they remain active amidst all the hardships and challenges they face as a business.

Indeed, success for Rensol as an ethical international recruitment agency did not come easy. Yes, ethical recruitment is already existing when Rensol came to be but it was widely shunned upon. The international recruitment agency encountered dozens of principals who were in favor, were used to and have no qualms charging professional fees to workers for employment. More than a dozen deals were lost and it felt like a losing battle as most of their competition condones and promotes placement fees.

However, times are changing for the better. The challenges Rensol faced finding foreign partners that mirrored their principles as an international recruitment agency did not fazed them. The old negative side of recruitment is slowly wavering. While the demand for highly ethical recruitment is growing. Global organizations who are in favor and in support of responsible and ethical recruitment such as the World Employment Confederation and International Labor Organization (ILO) are now actively regulating employment and recruitment agencies around the world. Local regulating bodies such as the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is also now stronger than ever.

Today, more and more international recruitment agencies are mirroring the “No Placement Fee” policy as it enhances their company reputation and enables them to differentiate themselves from unscrupulous competitors. In like manner, more and more foreign principals are recognizing the importance working with an ethical international recruitment agency such as Rensol and protecting job seekers by upholding worker rights, establishing clear worker protection and prohibiting fee-charging for employment.

Truly, ethical recruitment is now widely accepted and even sought after by many employers around the globe. Sticking and committing to what is right has done wonders for the recruitment and staffing industry.

As for Rensol, employment providers are now proactively meeting with them, seeking for their expertise in providing highly ethical recruitment campaigns for their talent acquisition and staffing needs.

From Left to Right: 1. Rensol Recruitment Team with a Retail Manufacturing client from Qatar; 2. with a Healthcare client from Russia; 3. Rensol Country Manager – Mr. Arnold Mamaclay with a Food and Beverage client in Turkey; 4. and with a Construction client from Singapore.

Rensol Recruitment joins other private licensed recruitment agencies and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to intensify the Anti-illegal Recruitment Campaign.

The MOU signed last Friday, June 22, 2018, at the POEA Auditorium aims to strengthen initiatives in the national campaign against illegal recruitment: to establish cooperation in raising awareness to the public on how to avoid becoming a victim, to attain administrative assistance, and to signify a pledge of support to not engage in any forms of illegal activities.

Initiatives of the government are not enough but with the help from the private sector, especially from legitimate recruitment agencies from the ranks of the Japan Employment Providers of the Philippines and Consultants’ Association (JEPPCA) and the Australia and New Zealand Association of Employment Providers of the Philippines, Inc (ANZAEPP), the campaign is closer to achievable.

Mr. Bernard P. Olalia, administrator of the POEA, signed the MOU together with the Mr. Noel Litan, President of ANZAEPP and Ms. Nora Braganza, President of JEPPCA.

JEPPCA and ANZAEPP are two premier organizations of recruitment agencies formed to be a conduit of the government in upholding integrity within respective job markets by promoting policies to safeguard the interests of all industry stakeholders.

The Anti-Illegal Recruitment campaign has been a decade-long battle to combat manoeuvres that severely harm thousands of workers and their foreign employers. The formation of JEPPCA and ANZAEPP is anchored to the participation of private recruitment agencies in policing their ranks against these illegal activities.

These organizations have forwarded their initiatives to promote education of their members and their job applicants. The “Basic, Must Know, Winnable (BMW)” learning program, their flagship project, has been instrumental in upholding recruitment ethics within their member agencies.

Member Agencies of ANZAEPP and JEPPCA with the POEA Governing Board.

“This is a solid testament that a government-private partnership is possible. The government cannot do it alone,” Mr. Bernard P. Olalia, the administrator of the POEA, said. He commends recruitment agencies which take the first step to be a partner of the government to campaign against illegal recruitment.

Administrator Olalia added that this program is not just a collaboration and a fellowship but a “corporate social responsibility” to promote efficiency in the deployment of workers. Their collation with the government has essentially improved the capacity of the country for migration of jobs.

Championing the anti-illegal recruitment campaign equates to protection. Rensol’s involvement in these groups significantly upgraded its protection mechanism for all its workers and foreign clients. This move ought to empower workers for a successful overseas employment experience. “A protected OFW is a protected agency,” said Estrelita Hizon, a member of the POEA governing board.
